DakStats Team Volunteers at 2009 Entringer Classic

Team Members Track Stats for South Dakota High School Charity Classic

For the fourth year in a row, DakStats Team members are providing their services at the Boys and Girls Entringer Classics.

The Girls Entringer Classic was held December 12 in at the Flandreau Public High School Flandreau, SD, and sixteen teams from the area participated in the classic. DakStats Basketball and the Webcast feature were used to track stats and broadcast them to the Web-Sync site. After each game, statistics were Web-Synced to the South Dakota HS Web-Sync site to populate tournament team and individual leaders. The Boys Entringer Classic will be held December 31 at Brookings High School in Brookings, SD. All games will be Webcast to the South Dakota HS Web-Sync site with stats Web-Sync afterward to populate tournament team and individual leaders. The Entringer Classic is in its 15th year of play for the Boy's Classic and 12th year of play for the Girl's Classic. The net proceeds of the Entringer Classic go to a scholarship endowment to award scholarships for high school students. In 2009, the Entringer Classic awarded 47 scholarships of $1000 each to area students. Since the Classic began awawrding scholarships, it has awarded a total of $350,000 total through 492 scholarships.
