Updates Make Setup and Web-Sync Easier

When you setup a season in the new versions of DakStats, you may notice some small changes that help in big ways.

Web-Sync Profile

After you create a new season on the Configure > System and Season Preferences screen, Dakstats will automatically prompt you to create your Web-Sync profile.  This eliminates having to click through to a separate screen to create the Web-Sync profile.

Adding Teams

We have also simplified the process of adding teams. When you create your season and Web-Sync profile, your team is automatically added. Rather than having to create teams on the Configure > Teams screen, you can now create the teams directly from the Create New Game screen by choosing Select New Team from either the Visiting Team or Home Team drop downs.  You can still add teams from the Configure > Teams screen just as you used to.

Coming Soon: Front Splash Screen

We are finalizing work on a new front splash screen for DakStats users. When you open the software, the front splash screen will appears and you will be able to access many of the common tasks within the software, including Configuring teams, rosters, and schedules, printing reports, importing and exporting games, and running the Web-Sync process.

The splash screen puts the common DakStats task infront of you right when you open DakStats, making it easier to setup and operate. However, you can still go through the setup process and Web-Sync just as you had previously on the various screens.
