Problem:
I tried to create a season or game, but it does not save.

Questions to Ask:

1. Did the IT department install the software on the computer?

AND

2. Do you know what type of rights you have on the computer?

NOTE: If you are unsure of the answers to the above questions, there is a simple way to check. To do so, open "My Computer" and go to "C:\Program Files\Daktronics\DakStats(R) Baseball (or the applicable sport)". Attempt to create a new folder within the sport folder. If it tells you that you do not have permissions to do so, go to Resolution.

Resolution:

Have the IT Department ensure you have, at the very least, read, write, and delete permissions to C:\Program Files\Daktronics and C:\Daktronics and all subfolders of each. Ideally, the IT department should make you a Power User, but the above permissions will work as well.

More information:

The user should have rights to read, write, and delete to C:\Program Files\Daktronics and C:\Daktronics and all subfolders of each so that the software can access applicable databases. Ideally, making the user a Power User is the best option.
