Problem: 
I have duplicate teams within DakStats.

Resolution:
In order to combine duplicate teams, you will need to export the games involved, delete the games, delete the teams, and then re-import the games under the correct team. The steps below explain the process.

1. Attempt to delete the duplicate team. If the team has games listed, you will not be able to delete it, and will receive a message that says “Team has games scheduled in 'SEASON'. Delete current team is not allowed until all games involving the team have been deleted!” If this is the case, move to step 2.
   
2. Go to Configure > Teams and change the abbreviation of the duplicated team to "AAA" in order to differentiate between teams in the upcoming steps.
   
3. Export the games involving the duplicate team (renamed to AAA).
   a.  Go to File > Export Game.
   b.  Select a season, select each game individually, and then click Export.
   
4. Delete the games involving the duplicate AAA team.
   a.  Go to Configure > Games.
   b.  Choose the games involving the duplicate team and click Delete Game.
   
5. Delete the duplicate AAA team on the Configure > Teams screen.
   
6. Import the recently exported games by going to File > Import Game.
   
   NOTE: Make sure to select the team when the message says “Problem Resolving Teams” instead of clicking Add New.

More information:
Often when importing games, users click Add New on the Problem Resolving Teams screen instead of clicking Select when they already have the team in their teams list. This creates two teams, each of which has games assigned to it.
