"TEAM NAME" has an invalid Team Code

Problem:
When attempting to Web-Sync, user I receive error “TEAM NAME has invalid team code.”

Questions to Ask:

Did you assign each team in the Teams list a team code? If not or if unsure, see Resolution 1.

Are all the teams the school plays in the same league as the school? (ex. NAIA or NJCAA). If no, see Resolution 2.

Resolution 1:
Go to Configure > Teams and make sure every team is assigned a Team Code from the Look Up ID/Code list.

Resolution 2:
If the team in question is not in the school’s league, select them as a Non-Member School.

Go to Configure > Teams and select the team.
Click Look Up ID/Code.
Click Select As Non-Member School.

Each school is assigned a Team ID on the Web-Sync site so that statistical information can be differentiated between teams. If the team code of a different team was selected in place of the correct team within DakStats, it will affect the wrong team’s record and overall statistics as well as schedule.

However, only teams within the same league as the customer should have team codes selected. Non-member schools (NJCAA schools when working with an NAIA school, for example), should be assigned a non-member code as in Resolution 2.
