Problem:
When attempting to Web-Sync, I receive error, “Error: Failed to Open Database.”

Questions to Ask:

Resolution:

1. The Webcast feature is included with the DakStats download for each sport. Re-install the software for the particular sport to also update the Webcast.
2. Download MDAC 2.8 or higher from www.microsoft.com onto your computer.

More information:
MDAC is a database component used during the Web-Sync process, and it should install when users install the Webcast feature. Cccasionally it doesn’t completely install and must then be installed manually.
