Web-Syncing an Exhibition Match

Problem:
Game is an exhibition match for one team, and a regular season game for the other. How does one team show statistics on their Web-Sync page and the other show nothing?

Questions to Ask:

Is your team playing game as a regular season game? If yes, see Resolution 1.

Is your team playing game as an exhibition game? If yes, see Resolution 2.

What should we do if we play the same team later on in the season and it is a regular season game for both of us? See Resolution 3.

Resolution 1:
When entering team and team code, you will need to assign a non-member team code (99999) for the opposing team who is only playing the game as an exhibition.

Resolution 2:
Since your team is only playing the game as an exhibition, you will not need to enter stats for the competition. If you want to enter stats for the game, put them in a different season so they don’t get included in your regular season stats.

Resolution 3:
You already have the team entered in, but you will need to create the team again and assign the correct team code so that it is considered a regular season game by both parties. To avoid confusion, try naming the team with a tag (such as Exhibition).
