Problem:
I receive the following error message immediately after beginning the Web-Sync, “Internet Exception: the system cannot find the file specified”.
Resolution:
- Check Internet Connection
a. DakStats normally returns this message when no internet connection is available.
Open a web browser to confirm a connection is established.
b. If using wireless internet, try switching to a landline connection and Web-Syncing
again. If using a landline makes a difference, you potentially have a weak
wireless connection. This increases the likelihood that the Web-Sync will timeout
before all the information is uploaded.
- Network Firewall
Confirm with your IT department that the DakStats program is allowed to send information through the network firewall.
