Problem: User Permissions & Administrative Considerations when Installing DakStats.
Note: Most computers used on high school & college campuses have their user accounts restricted. This allows that schools IT group to prevent users from installing unwanted programs.
If you are not an administrator on the DakStats computer, please have a member of the IT department log onto the computer and install the software.
Following the install, the computer administrator should:
- Register DakStats while logged into the computer as an administrator. Click here for specific instructions on registering the software.
- Ensure you have, at the very least, read, write, and delete permissions in the "C:\Program Files\Daktronics" folder and its subfolders and C:\Daktronics and its subfolders.
If you are already an administrator on the computer, download the software from the Download page.
