Topic: Web-Sync
Problem: When trying to Web-Sync, I receive error message “Failed to Open Database”
Questions:
Cause:
One or both of the following DLL files did not automatically register upon installing the software: "msjetolebd40.dll" and/or “msjet40.dll".
Resolution:
You will need to manually register the files:
- Make sure DakStats is closed.
- Go to Start > Run.
- Type in "cmd" and click OK.
- In the command line window, type in "cd C:\Windows\System32".
- Type in "rgsvr32 msjetolebd40.dll" and press [Enter]. You should receive a message that the file was successfully registered.
- Repeat Step 5 with "msjet40.dll".
If the issue persists, email DakStats@daktronics.com. Please paste in the messages that are displayed in Web-Sync Log.
